Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist competing with the Flyweight Division of UFC. She is the elder sister of fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, who is a Muay Thai kickboxer, began her professional fight career during her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko took the title in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007, she also won a bronze medal in 2008 and a medal gold in 2011. She was also crowned IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion in 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia, who began her professional journey in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and the 2016 International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. She took the title by TKO in the second round and then won her two subsequent bouts in the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. She was awarded the record of 3-0 in MMA. Shevchenko was forced to take a break in order to pursue the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko won against Anissa by unanimous decision before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina defeated Nievera by her striking skills that were superior in the final clinch through knees to the body. Following this victory, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina received an UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight after winning the first fight via unanimity. Antonina recovered from the loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the evening for this bout. Shevchenko won her first three fights before losing them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
